One way street? think again before you cross the road!

It's quite outraging to read on the papers about the woman who was knocked into coma by a reversing vehicle on a ONE-WAY street to get a parking lot ...

a mere fine of $500 with demerit points were imposed on that driver ...

As a pedestrian. . i would have to say. . . .

There are many inconsiderate and downright STUPID drivers/motorcyclists in SINGAPORE!

I have seen vehicles reversing or even driving against the traffic along a entire stretch of road!

Even the pedestrian pavements are no longer safe! Motorcyclists are zooming at high speeds along pavements and even honking/screaming/scolding pedestrians who block their breakneck ride to their destination.

But then as a motorist. .

The onus should be on the pedestrian to check before stepping onto the road....

simply put - the road is meant for cars just like the pedestrian walk-ways are meant for people (and not bicycles/motorbikes)... u want to walk onto the road, u, as a pedestrian, should check before u step onto the road or try to cross the road...

furthermore, as a pedestrian, u do not have blindspots and it's a lot easier for u to spot a big moving mass (i.e. the vehicle) than for the driver to spot u since u might be in a blindspot. besides, if anything happens, it's ur life at stake so u ought to take more precautions...

Two headed snake??

Maybe. .

On a side note, had a damn super happening weekend in JB.

Lost a parkin ticket.
Lost my passport
Caught with 40 pirated DVDs at SG customs.
fucktheABNNcustomofficerwhosearchthecarlikethereisnotommorrow

Anyway came out of the whole ordeal unscathed, save for waiting for the DVDs to be censored and returned to me.

Yes. . u hear it right. .
