Efficiency

Today a man got arrested for forgetting to hand in his consent form. It invoke a small argument with a civil servant which lasted less than 5 minutes.

The civil servant was not happy and lodge a complaint and the police efficiently arrested the man with the problem form.

It was the most efficient police operation Singaporeans ever seen.

From then on, Singaporeans started a new fashion of lodging police complaints after every argument.

Wife report husband and vice versa. Employer and Employee.

Friends. Army Buddies. Students. Kindergarten kids, neighbours, family members etc.

Because of the overwhelming police complaints over the slightest arguments, Home Affairs Minister Wong Kan Seng decided to add 2000 more policemen to the police force.

He said "well , it looks like this new fashion contributed to job creation. The funds needed to pay the new policemen will come from the money use to bail people after every arrest which is quite often."

He added" Every day, we receive an average of 1000 police complaints and arrest and that is alot of money, it is a win-win situation for the government"

He is very happy Singaporeans trust the police more by engaging police services more often. he hope this trend will last.

He said: " It was like the trend that started in 1990s after an election whereby Singaporeans had to threaten each other to reach its objectives, this time I am happy this election produce a new trend in Singapore society"

He urge Singaporeans to keep it up.

In entertainment news, homegrown filmmaker Lee Khaw Wong scored a hit with the box office with his remake of the hollywood blockbuster "Minority Report".

Rakin in S$500,000 on the openin day, it has surpassed all other local films opening day takings so far.
