"Away in a manger
No crib for a bed
The little lord jesus
Lay down his sweet head
The stars in the sky
Look down where lay
The little lord jesus
Asleep in the hay

The cattle are lowing
The poor baby wakes
But little lord jesus
No crying he makes
I love thee lord jesus
Look down from the sky
And stay by my cradle
Till morning is nigh"

Ways to punish TT Durex

Since it all started with Durai cheating the public with bogus charity shows, we should end it with a charity show as well.

Durai should be force to perform stunts in a special NKF "TT Durai Great Escape -- Do or Die" charity show.

His stunt?

Play russian roulette with a revolver loaded with 5 rounds out of 6 bullet housings. Before every commercial break, he will point the gun at his head and pull the trigger once. If he survive that, blindfold him and order him to jump into a swimming pool filled with peanuts instead of water. Hope that some peanuts will be shaft up his asshole.

Still surviving?

He will be also be locked in a wooden cart, with only his head protruding out, and force to parade in Orchard Road. Public will be allow to throw rotten eggs, urine packets, shit etc... at him.

After that, He can spend 10 days in the same fish tank with our super ego-inflated Khoo SC.

Saving the best for the last. .

Exchange his good kidneys with that of a patient under dialysis .

In this way,he will have to undergo kidney dialysis for the rest of his life... WITH NO SUBSIDY!!!

Thats y i say indi**ns cannot be trusted. . . :p

Only 10 cents out of every S$1 donated went to NKF patients

" The 332-page report released on Monday detailed how Mr T T Durai exerted total control over Singapore's largest charity, which provoked a public outcry in July after its admissions in court that it had, among other things, fudged its patient numbers, inflated the amount it gave out in subsidies to patients and the total cost of dialysis treatment.

And instead of giving its dialysis patients cheaper care, the NKF made 'high gross profits' from its sale of drugs to them.

These were some of the incredible findings uncovered by KPMG after five-months of scrutinising the way NKF used to work.

Also, the old NKF made a profit from selling its patients drugs, to the tune of about S$1 million (US$600,373) a year."

What a bloody disgrace. Someone needs to get behind bars.

i encourage u to read the full report
i am only 1/2 way thru an i am already very very disgusted with how things have been going on wrong for so many yearsand this is despite it being audited very yr!

no wonder the exployees are upset with durai's departure
go read about their 4 increments per yr, doubling of salary in 2 yrs and cash of 200+k when the staff resign!!!

Not to mention the IT sys worth millions which as never delivered and payment still made.
Lots of dirty laundry being bought out into the open!!

& where's durai in the midst of all these????
Seems like he performed a magic trick far better than any of those artists on TV by disappearing into thin air so quickly and so silently......

Had the Durai and the NKF not sued SPH and Ms Susan Long for defamation, these issues may never have come to light, and the state of affairs at the NKF may just have gone on forever.

this is bad...real bad

for Ms H, DING DONG!!!

TAXIS! TAXIS! TAXIS!

TMD.

First are the buses and trains. Now the Taxis.

SMART Automobile launches Singapore's first fleet of CNG-powered taxis
By Yvonne Cheong, Channel NewsAsia

SMART Automobile has launched Singapore's first fleet of CNG-powered taxis.

It'll also set up at least two compressed natural gas (CNG) refuelling stations by the end of next year.

The Mercedes Benz E200 CNG-powered limousine taxis are bi-fuel and are environment-friendly as they emit pure water when running on natural gas.

The vehicles automatically switch to running on petrol when it runs out of gas.

But each of these taxis costs $115,000, a few thousand dollars more than its regular counterpart.

Thirty CNG taxis hit the road after the launch on Monday, the rest will do by year end.

The flag-down rate for a CNG taxi is $3, which is 60 cents more than the usual $2.40.

Steven Heng, a CNG taxi driver, said: "We haven't had any complaints so far. In fact, customers say it's quiet, stable and comfortable."

I do not understand, If they can save $10,000,then why increase price to $3?

They can run on nuclear power for all they want. Just let us have our cabs during peak hours.

And Farking bollocks. What do you mean by complaints? After less than a day on the road for the first time today (Monday), and they got the cheek to say "we haven't had any complaints..." After a mere 1 day? What kind of a f up report is it?

Hmm. .Thanks for alerting me. If I have to take a taxi, and when I see a SMART taxi that runs on gas, unless, I am desperate, I will wave the taxi on!

So i guess the logical purpose of using gas is to save cost, both to the taxi drivers and to pass the savings to the consumers.

But here, all costs are passed to the taxi drivers and the consumers. . . .wtf

No bus, No MRTs, No taxis. . . .

HOW??????

I always have grouses with our local public transport providers, but its jus tat I have always try to let it pass and think not so much about it. .but what happen today really takes the cake. .

I shall not go into details what happen, but I m just so freakin pissed with whatever the Bus companies are doing. It seem that as long as they are having monopoly of the public transport here and their profit margins are well taken care of, the comfort of the passengers doesnt really matter much to them.

I SERIOUSLY invite the senior management of the bus companies and members of the Public Transport Council to take the public buses to work and for leisure for a month. By the end of the month, I am sure they will agree with me that there are MANY areas of concern have to be resolved swiftly and satisfactorily.

They are always talking about World Class Service.

World Class Quality Service ? World my head...they wait long long also won't get World Class Quality Service. World class service and Public Transport here is like saying press freedom and Singapore.

Wait a minute. .i know what they mean by World Class liao. . .
"world class" means a bit taken fm every part of the world, multi-cultural to be exact, not totally taken fm white pple country.

Such as overcrowding buses like those in India

Commuters pushing each other when broading the bus like those in China

Long waiting time of buses like those in Australia

Dirty interior like those in jarkata

Fares are getting more expensive like those in hk, and etc.......

HELLO!! I say we must break the duopoly and let the private sector compete. i m sure the private sector can do better than the stupid gahmen.

Yeah, they can always say how cheap our public transport here, blah blah blah, but we have to compare the whole transport system as a whole. Cars over at other countries are cheaper, thus public transport is more expensive. GODAMMIT!

Still I believe the single most important reason is that in a duopoly, the two operators, being profit-driven listed companies, are simply not willing to step up services as this would jack up costs and eat into their bottom line.

Bus-lane hoggers and unpredictable traffic congestion are but minor problems that can be licked with better traffic enforcement. I wonder what the other 999 factors are, which are blamed for producing poor commuter-satisfaction results.

I dun want to take Bus and MRT to work liao leh . .how?

Once upon a time. .

Once upon a time, there was a boy, named Boy, and a girl, named Girl.

One fine day, Boy was surfing the net bored-ly, and chanced upon Girl's profile page.

She had an interesting photo of herself and, erm, her lookalike.

Boy was curious, because Girl's photo struck something in her, the smile in her was jus irresistable

He dropped him a message.

Days later, Boy got a reply from Girl.

Emails was a very troublesome way to communicate, therefore they exchanged MSN addresses, and subsequently exchanged numbers.

Soon, they met.

And so, they met.

From then, they went out for movies and dinners, and SMSed madly.

They enjoyed each other's company, to say the least.

Boy was going crazy over her. Girl was running through his mind all day long.

Boy made all sorts of excuses just to meet her.

Finally the Girl asked him why was he so nice to her.

"I like you" came the reply.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Few days later they met again.

Boy tried catching Girl's hand.

Girl was rather apprehensive, because they had known each other for only a very short time.

She did think of letting go, but she decided against it, because technically speaking, she had nothing to lose.

It was a good thing she didn't, too.

Boy promised to himself that he would not have asked again if she had let go.

They embarked on an unknown journey together, unaware of the future, and not knowing what will be the outcome.

It was safe to say, they didn't even knew each other well enough yet.

Yet, to both of them, it was probably one of the best things that happened in their lives.

=)

A Early Merry Christmas to all of you out there and sorry for the lack of updates.

Busy pak tor-ing mah!
